This is Addiswork Addis. She is 14 years old. Her father has died of AIDS and her mother, Alemnesh, has contracted the disease as well. After the death of her father, it was almost impossible for her mother to care for her. She and her mother are Christians and they prayed for God's hand to move in their lives. Not long after, she was told about the program at Hand of God Ministries. Through this program, God truly has moved in their lives. Addiswork is very smart. She is a good student and expresses gratitude to us for making it possible for her to continue with her schooling and helping her be secure in the hope that her dream of becoming a doctor can come true.

The only thing that Addiswork needs now is for someone to spiritually and financially adopt her. This will continue to change the lives of her and her mother, and will give her the stability she needs to secure her future.
