This is Rexona Tadesse. She is 13 years old. Rexona's father has died of AIDS and her mother, Zelalem, has also contracted AIDS. When I first met Rexona and her family, their lives were very hard. Zelalem was very sick and only with the help of others from the church were they able to make it at all. Rexona hated school because the teachers punished the students harshly. Today, Rexona is a very happy, incredibly sweet young lady. The lives of the entire family have changed so much. Rexona wants to be a nurse/full time church worker. Their mother is a wonderful Christian woman, and God has touched her body. She is in good health.
