This is Samuel Misganaw. Samuel is nine years old now. He is a very good student and works hard. He likes school and wants to be a doctor. His father has died of AIDS and his mother also has it. After the death of her husband, Samuel's mother Wudinat began a job treating AIDS patients. Though she worked very hard, her top salary was about 100 birr. This is about $11 per month. It was not enough to buy food every day and provide shelter for herself and Samuel. Samuel did not have a bed or blanket and had very little clothing. His mother prayed for God to help her at church and she heard about our program. Because of our support, Samuel and his mother have enough food every day.
